The industry awaits a government response to the Law Commission 2022 report Celebrating Marriage which recommended a complete overhaul of wedding law in England and Wales which have not been fully updated since the 1850s.

Sarah Haywood was today re-elected Spokesperson for the UK Weddings Taskforce. Sarah is co-founder of the industry-led, Government-supported Taskforce which was set up at the end of 2020. It's aim is to assist the UK Weddings Sector, decimated by the pandemic restrictions, through to the other wide of the COVID-19 crisis.
