There are calls for a "Wedding Tzar" in the UK and Sarah appeared on GB news to talk about the antiquated, overly-restrictive, confusing and discriminatory marriage laws in the UK which do not reflect modern society. The industry awaits a government response to the Law Commission 2022 report Celebrating Marriage which recommended a complete overhaul of wedding law in England and Wales which have not been fully updated since the 1850s.
