About Sarah

Sarah Haywood planned her first wedding more than ten years ago. What began as a sideline in party planning whilst working as a TV news presenter is now an award winning, international business. Sarah is author of the top selling Wedding Bible bridal books and in 2010 she was the first wedding planner globally to launch a suite of Wedding Planning mobile phone apps. She also holds the WSET International Higher Certificate in Wines & Sprits.

Sarah regularly appears on TV and radio in the UK and abroad. She was the international media's 'go-to' wedding expert for the 2011 Royal Wedding and was CNN's wedding pundit for their live simulcast from Buckingham Palace on the wedding day. With a reputation for excellence within the industry, she is regularly quoted in wedding and lifestyle publications, in the broadsheet and tabloid press and her weddings feature in bridal and celebrity magazines.

Sarah was awarded Business ICON 2010 at the Pink Shoe Icon Awards presented at London's House of Commons. The awards celebrate: "inspiring women of outstanding achievement in their field".

Outside 'brideland' Sarah is a Trustee of Helen & Douglas House: hospices providing respite and end of life care for children and young adults
